Wine and dine Champs' style!
When Michael Kasprowicz joined the team, he was trying to learn a bit of Hindi, so we taught him about four to five basic Hindi words. Once, when we all went to a restaurant, the waiter came and he started conversing in English because he saw that there were foreigners with us. Then, Michael said in Hindi, "Aap hamare liye khana laao!" and the waiter was simply stunned! He thought, "How is this foreigner speaking such good Hindi?" The bewildered expressions on his face made us all laugh like crazy.
Another funny incident took place when we had a team dinner that Brian (Lara) had organised. We were all expected to eat together at a restaurant and when we went there, there were four dinner tables set in four different corners of the room. We all were wondering what was happening; it was a team dinner and we had to walk to our team mate sitting at the other table, say hello to him and then come back to our table and have food again! So it was very funny! In fact, it was one of the funniest team dinners that I have ever had in my life!
